The Most Revd Dr Titus Chung graduated from Trinity Theological College in 1995 and was ordained in the Diocese of Singapore in 1997. He served in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit and was later appointed as Vicar, where he also held the position of Chaplain to St Andrew’s Secondary School.
In 2008, he obtained his PhD from the University of Edinburgh and returned to serve as Priest-in-Charge of St Andrew’s Cathedral Mandarin Congregation. In 2020, he was appointed as the tenth Bishop of Singapore and continues to serve as an adjunct lecturer at Trinity Theological College.
When TTC was relocated from Mount Sophia to Upper Bukit Timah, St Peter’s Hall was relocated along with TTC in 2001 (see Our Journey). Because he uniquely combined advanced theological training with a background in fine arts, the then Canon Titus Chung was commissioned by the then Bishop John Chew to design a stained glass panel for the new St Peter’s Hall Chapel (see Our Symbols).
Today, Archbishop Titus Chung chairs the Theological Education Board, which is the Board overseeing the work of St Peter’s Hall (see Our Structure). He charted a vision for SPH and plays an active role in supporting the development of the work in SPH.
