What a refreshing and enriching time it was for the Petereans and their families during the recent SPH Retreat! The theme of the retreat, “Faithful,” was especially fitting as it resonated deeply with those among us who are navigating the rigors of full-time theological studies.
Many are also balancing various church ministries, making the support from both immediate families and fellow Petereans vital. The call to full-time ministry often extends beyond the individual—it involves the entire family, who stand as pillars of strength, prayer, and encouragement. This retreat provided a unique opportunity for families to bond, grow closer, and unite in the shared purpose of advancing God’s kingdom.
Through building and fostering our community, this retreat has deepened our relationships, reminding us that we are not walking this journey alone. We have each other to lean on, to grow with, and to encourage as we faithfully serve. Let us continue to press on in our calling, remembering the words of Hebrews 10:23-25: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
