The Writings II (DCBS Module 7)

This module consists of the following books of the Bible – Ruth, Esther, Lamentations, Daniel, Ezra-Nehemiah, and 1&2 Chronicles.

Ruth and 1&2 Chronicles

Instructor:  Ms Veronica Wong

Veronica Wong worships at St Andrew’s Cathedral, serves as a worship leader in the Saturday Service Praise team, and is a cell group leader.

She graduated from the Trinity Theological College, Singapore in 2014 with the Masters of Theological Studies.

Veronica currently works in a local university specialising in admissions.

Esther

Instructor:  Mrs Angeline Leong

Mrs Angeline Leong has been in full-time ministry as a parish worker for 25 years. She was serving in St Andrew’s Cathedral before moving to My Saviour’s Church’s English Congregation.

Trained at Trinity Theological College, she is passionate about teaching the Word of God and seeing transformed lives from knowing God better.

Lamentations

Instructor:  Revd Hambali Leonardi

Revd Hambali is currently serving as Priest in St James Church. He had his theological training at Trinity Theological College, Singapore (MDiv).

He enjoys teaching God’s Word and has taught various bible books in the DCBS programme. He desires to equip and prepare the Church for the second Advent.

Daniel

Instructor:  Mr Kwan Fook Seng

Before his retirement, Fook Seng taught general paper, literature, knowledge and inquiry to junior college students.

He has been actively leading cell groups and has a wealth of experience teaching Bible courses for more than 4 decades. He also served as a facilitator and team instructor for the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality course for several years.

Ezra-Nehemiah

Instructor:  Revd Steven Seah

Revd Steven is the Dean of Cambodia where he continues to undertake some teaching on top of his oversight duties.

He has previously taught Isaiah, the Minor Prophets, Song of Songs and the Pauline Epistles for DCBS. He likes to teach whatever he can because he learns so himself in the process.
