The Christian and The Last Things

Death, Judgement, Heaven and Hell – these are the Last Things which a Christian has to face in the end. Because it is in the future (the eschaton), many uncertainties and speculations have sprung up; with a plethora of teachings, theories and interpretations. How is a Christian to wade through all of these, knowing which are Biblical and part of God’s plan for His people? At the same time, Christians are to cling on to the hope we have in Christ while awaiting His return. This module aims to clarify and inform all who want to know how to discern what is the Truth and the Life.

INSTRUCTORS:

Revd William Chee

Rev William Chee was trained as a chartered accountant before entering the ministry. He obtained his Master in Divinity and Theology from Trinity Theological College and has served in various parishes in the Diocese of Singapore. He is presently the Lay Training Coordinator for the Diocese, planning the development of biblical, theological and ministry training courses for the laity of the Diocese.

Revd Hambali Leonardi

Revd Canon Terry Wong

Canon Terry Wong is currently the Vicar of Marine Parade Christian Centre in the Diocese of Singapore. He has served previous stints as Vicar at St James’ Church and St Andrew’s Cathedral.

Revd Gary Chng

Revd Gary Chng graduated from Trinity Theological College with a Bachelor in Divinity. He serves as a Priest at Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
