About Course
This workshop helps in enabling our deeper understanding of others’ emotions and perspectives, validating their experiences, and fostering trust, respect and open communication. The skills introduced are essential for pastoral conversation to build meaningful and supportive relationships in our pastoral care.
Instructor: Revd Foo Chee Meng
Revd Foo Chee Meng has retired 3 years ago after serving the Diocese of Singapore for 31 years. Besides serving in the parish ministry, he was also involved in chaplaincy ministry in our community services. Revd Foo is a trained supervisor for Clinical Pastoral Education, a Diocesan training programme in pastoral formation and competence in pastoral care. He is married to Sook Fong, they have two grown up children and two grandchildren.
