WHAT YOUR PRAYERS MEAN TO US
Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it. (Psalm 127:1) Your prayers are by far the most precious thing you can bless us with. By asking the Lord to endow us with His wisdom, courage, provision and protection, you are doing far more for St Peter’s Hall than can be quantified.
Please consider using the prayer points below (which will be updated periodically) to remember us in your own prayers. If you sense or receive something in prayer that you wish to communicate to us, please use the Advise Us page or use the Warden’s email address on the Contact Us page.
PRAYER POINTERS (JAN – MAR 2023)
- Pray for the right staff to be added to the team. As the work grows, the capacity of the staff team to handle the work must also grow. Pray for the Lord to speak to the people of His choosing to respond to the calls for help and submit their applications.
- Pray for the collaboration between St Peter’s Hall and all the parishes, such that parishes that run good training for their own members can use SPH as a “training exchange” and offer these courses and classes to the rest of the Diocese, thereby breaking our traditional silos, and leveraging on the diverse pool of resources across our entire Diocese.
- Pray for the team that is planning for the systematic discipleship and leadership training in the Deaneries, namely Revd Dr Timothy Chong, Revd Jonathan Wong, and Revd Dr Joshua Sudharman. There are many complexities to overcome in putting together a training system that will be effective in the various cultural contexts. So we need tremendous grace from the Lord to articulate a clear roadmap and garner the resources.
THANK YOU FOR BLESSING ST PETER’S HALL WITH YOUR PRAYERS!
